*** In November the citizens of Cottonwood Heights, Draper, Sandy, Midvale, and Alta voted to create a new school district.  It was a bold move that holds great promise for the future of education in our area.  Since that time we have been very busy implementing the process as outlined in statute.

A steering committee has been formed comprised of the Mayors of the five cities, the County Mayor or his representative, and city managers and staff from the five cities.  This committee will guide the efforts of creating the new district until a new school board is elected. more Info
